Life expectancy has increased by three decades since the mid-twentieth century. Parallel "healthspan" expansion, however, has not followed. In the myriad of possible pathologies that could manifest in the "healthspan-lifespan gap", we’re tackling a universal issue - loss of mobility.
Hercules is a fully functional AI agent built to guide you through a customized journey to tracking and understanding your mobility. Hercules can successfully understand and log your pain based on speech recognition and images alone.
Users can tell Hercules they want to either (1) follow up on a previous pain/discomfort or (2) report a new one by pointing to where they’re experiencing pain or describing it verbally— Hercules will ask follow-up questions and reflect your symptoms in your log.
I owned (1) product scoping, (2) UX journey, (3) UI design for this project. I created mockups using Figma for the pain logging flow and dashboard, getting them ready for development and testing.
Making UX decisions that not only address immediate health concerns but also promote long-term well-being. I learned to prioritize features and design elements that encourage proactive health monitoring and early intervention.
By focusing on intuitive pain logging and symptom tracking, I aimed to empower users to take control of their health journey, making it easier to identify patterns and potential issues before they become severe. This approach highlighted the importance of designing with a forward-thinking mindset, ensuring that the user experience not only resolves current discomforts but also contributes to sustained mobility and overall health longevity.
